The text tool can use locally installed fonts, but once you've created text, you can't re-edit it. The same applies to the smudge and blur tools. You won't see what you've done until after you've finished. The clone tool works, which wasn't always the case with the subjects of this roundup - but in my tests, it didn't work in real time. SumoPaint doesn't score as well on photo editing, text, or design.
